![]() Signing of a Joint Cooperation Agreement Between Tarbiat Modares University and the NAMI Scientific Research Institute of RussiaDr. Nikolay Schmidt, Deputy General Director of Marketing and Commerce, Dr. Ehsan Movahed Nejad, as representatives of the NAMI Institute, along with Dr. Mohammad Javan, Vice President for Research and Technology at the university, Dr. Fathollah Ommi, Professor of the Aerospace Group in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Maryam Kamali, Director of Scientific International Relations and Head of the International Campus of the university, were present at the signing ceremony. Given the strong relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia, and with the support, collaboration, and utilization of the existing capacities at both the university and the institute, significant initiatives can be undertaken. With the presence of distinguished faculty members some of whom are among the top 1% of researchers worldwide and the university's dedicated, intelligent, and hardworking students, it is hoped that numerous research projects will be directed toward the university. The NAMI Institute is responsible for the automotive industry and policymaking in Russia’s automotive sector and also has a vehicle testing center. Since the institute's main focus is on scientific research activities, it is also involved in student education. Currently, NAMI has 150 Ph.D. students and 20 postdoctoral researchers. |
