Mitra Khoobi was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1984. She received the B.S. degree from the Iran University of medical sciences, Tehran, Iran, and a B.S. degree in English language studies from Allameh Tabatabai University, Tehran, Iran, and the MSc degree in medical-surgical from the Tehran University of medical sciences, Tehran, Iran, and finally a Ph.D. degree from the Tehran University of medical sciences, Tehran, Iran, respectively. In 2012, she joined the medical-surgical department, as a Lecturer and academic faculty member. Since December 2015, she has been with the medical-surgical department. After time laps in 2020, she became an Assistant Professor in the medical-surgical department of Tarbiat Modares University. Her current research interests include qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research. She has two inventions registered with the Patent Office. She was the recipient of Irans National Elites Foundation Prize of the Elite Graduated Student.
Introduction: The degradation of moral and professional values and incompatibility between value and performance affects the individual's value, and leads healthcare staff to completely abandon the profession. Aim: To investigate the experience of nursing care managers regarding the disrupted value system. Materials and Methods: In this qualitative research paper, data were collected using semi-structured interviews with nursing care managers. Content analysis (based on Graneheim and Lundman's approach) was utilised in data analyses. A total of 14 Iranian nurses with at least five-year experience of working in the hospital as nursing managers participated in this study. MethodsThis cross-sectional study was conducted among 1500 residents of Qom in 2014. Individuals were selected through multi-stage sampling. They completed two questionnaires: FSSG questionnaire for diagnosis of GERD and a general questionnaire to measure demographic and lifestyle factors. Univariate and multivariate were used for analysis of data. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 20.ResultsA total of 1130 individuals were analyzed in which 52.4% of them were female. Prevalence of GERD was 28%. Adjusted findings showed use of PPIs (OR: 2.2, 95% CI: 2–5), taking H2RAs (OR: 4.7, 95% CI: 2.3–9.4), the habit of quick eating (OR: 1.5, 95% CI: 1.1–2), extra salt consumption on daily meals (OR: 1.5, 95% CI: 1.05–2), lack of sleep
Ethical management with minimum moral distress is one of the main duties of nurse managers. There is no doubt that a better understanding of the experiences of nurse managers in morally challenging situations could have an effective role in improving health care systems. The present study aimed to investigate the lived experiences of clinical nurse managers regarding moral distress.

Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional study in which 251 patients undergoing CABG, aged above 20, with ejection fraction of more than 30% were selected through convenience sampling in ShahidRajaei Hospital. Respiratory indexes before weaning from mechanical ventilator were recorded. For all the patients undergoing the surgery, under pump and the duration of anesthesia were identical.
